Sovereign Signs, one of the brands within The Strata Group, recently completed a project for the Beacon Centre in North Shields, upgrading their brand signage after many years. New River Retail, owner of the centre, invested in excess of £500,000 for the 16 week refurbishment and rebrand to regenerate the building and its signage.
The shopping centre was in need of a bit of TLC and our team were glad to provide them with their new signage. The new look brought in a modern feel and a revived identity for the centre, using flex face box signs with internal LED lights fitted and new internal vinyls, the shopping centre breathed a new life.
After completion, the positive feedback came flooding in from customers and retailers who were pleased with the changes.
Emma Mackenzie, Director of New River Retail, said “I was on site last week and am genuinely delighted with the finished product. The Centre looks so much better both internally and externally – the work has taken 20yrs off her, lucky thing!”
As well as positive feedback from retailers and customers, North Shields Chamber of Trade and Commerce issued a special thank you to the team for the great work with the centre.
Since the success of our work at The Beacon Centre, more work opportunities have arose in the surrounding areas for The Strata Group and we have been asked to be involved in the development of the The Forum shopping centre in Wallsend, where we will be starting work in the near future.
