The Strata Group recently helped in the refurbishment of local Hull takeaway Atlanta, after they fell victim to a fire. Triggered by a tumble dryer, the fire and smoke damaged a large area of the shop both inside and out. Sovereign Signs and Pearlgreen Engineering two brands within The Strata Group, worked together to replace some of the damaged interior and exterior signage.
The Strata Group, who have worked with Atlanta previously, seemed an obvious choice by the brand to work on the refurbishment of the shop. Sovereign Signs and Pearlgreen Engineering designed and manufactured all assets to fit in with Atlanta’s new branding and aimed to transform the take away to beyond its former glory.
Sovereign signs manufactured and installed all exterior signage including fascia signs, the projection sign and covering the newly fitted glass windows with vinyl graphics. Pearlgreen Engineering manufactured a stainless steel canopy that holds lighting to illuminate the shop front. The 2 companies even designed and manufactured a bespoke door handle for the takeaway. As a part of the refurbishment, a new member of the Atlanta team was added in the form of a smart car used for deliveries. The car was branded with the Atlanta logo and phone numbers by Sovereign Signs.
After several weeks of closure, Atlanta reopened its doors on Wednesday the 9th of December 2015 and have taken what most would see as a terrible blow, as an opportunity to revitalise their premises and increase their offering. The people of Willerby and the surrounding area were pleased to see their local take away re-open, as were we.
